Come Out of Her My People

(Rev 18 v4)

Jesus warned that the false anointed ones (Christs) and false prophets would deceive even the elect if that were possible.

"If it were possible" hints that it isn't possible. The elect cannot be deceived, yet the deception is so close to the real thing that it is a miracle that the elect are not deceived. So that rules out such claims that witchcraft, drunken orgies, electronic banking and many other things being the great deceiving move of the end time. Whatever it is has to be so close to the real thing as to seem to be the genuine article. If the elect are the Bride of Christ, His church, then the deception has to be a false church, a false "Bride".

Isaiah 4 v1 "And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, we will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.

Throughout the Bible a woman represents a church. There are seven women in that reading and there are seven churches in the book of Revelation. Those women talk about their own bread and their own clothing. Jesus is the bread of Life. A true Christian is covered by the Blood of Jesus. What those women or churches are saying is that we will provide our own word (teachings and dogma) and we will provide our own covering for sin, but let us be called by your name of Christ. In other words let us be called Christian.

In Revelation 13 there is a beast rising from a sea of people with seven heads. A second beast, similar in power and authority to the first beast, deceives nearly everyone, by miracles, into worshipping the first beast. Chapter 17 of Revelation further describes the first beast as being a woman (church) who will deceive all whose names are not written in the Lambs book of Life. In other words she will deceive everyone except the elect, the true believers, the Bride of Christ. This church sits on seven hills, has world wide political influence and is a city. There are some 50+ cities in the world built on seven hills. But there is only one that sends out ambassadors, has world wide political influence and is also a church. And that is Rome. Historically the Roman Empire was given a deadly wound and seemingly died. It was, is not, and yet is.

If Rome is the first beast in Revelation 13 what is the second? It starts off as a lamb but finishes speaking like the dragon, similar to the one mentioned in Revelation 12. The United States started with the founding fathers at Plymouth Rock where they wanted to form a nation with freedom of religion. Today the US is the instigator of war and invasion and pushes its self interest demands on many smaller nations as a bully forces its wishes on victims. This second beast comes not from many peoples but from the earth, a place originally of few people. It makes an image to the first beast and gives that image life. One of the miracles the second beast is able to do is make fire come out out of heaven. That sounds like an atomic bomb dropped from the skies, first done by the United States over Japan. The US has 13 stripes on its flag and appears in chapter 13 of Revelation. And the centre for the World Council of Churches is in New York.

Rome calls herself the mother church and the Bible describes her, in Revelation 17,  as the great whore and mother of harlots. If that is true then the Roman church and all those churches that directly or indirectly came from her are also false. That isn't to say all the people in those systems are evil but the system of denominations and a church control by a hierarchy is of the devil. As Paul says, "We fight not against flesh and blood (people) but against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6 v12)

If the above is seen to be true then that explains the regression of true faith from around 54 AD to the religious system of beliefs seen today, Such trust is not in Jesus Christ and Holy Ghost leadership, but faith in the form and structure of self appointing management organisation. The seven letters to the seven churches in Asia, in chapters 2 & 3 of Revelation, prophetically illustrate the increasing control of the Nicolaitanes, that is the control of the laity by the clergy. (And be aware that this can happen in so called message churches where a Pastor or self appointed teacher or leader holds spiritual fear or financial control over people.)

God's plan is individual leadership of each of His people by His Holy Spirit. None of us has all the gifts and callings hence we must meet and share those with others. That is a Church. And that church is sovereign, No one outside, such as a bishop or an overseeing committee is allowed. Instead each member of that church is to fully demonstrate their gifts and callings for the good of all the other members. That is the pattern laid down in the Book of Acts, which, incidentally, should be called the Acts of the Holy Spirit and not the Acts of the Apostles.

What would make the Christian church of today think it was OK? Its security, financially, socially, and doctrinally.

Denominational churches are, generally, far less likely to have a financial collapse than most businesses. They have nearly two thousand years of doctrines, dogma and teaching to uphold traditions all based on verifiable historical facts. In reality the Christian church is rich. It is neither vibrant and dynamic in todays events but then nor is it cold and indifferent, It is lukewarm. It feels itself to be rich, secure, and certainly not in any need to re-assess it's teaching and doctrinal position. In short today's church is the Laodicean church of Revelation 3 v14-22. It is this church that has placed Jesus outside. He cannot lead this church, it is run by committes or strong individual leaders. Jesus is knocking to get back in but only individuals will open their hearts to Him and allow Him to live in them. (Revelation 3 v20)

Why would the Christian denominations be in any better position after 2,000 years than Judaism was when Christ arrived? In those days the main denominations, Pharisees, Sadducees, Herodians  too were rich, secure and lukewarm. They were involved in politics just as churches are today. But the Word of God came in human form to those in Judaism and they missed it. The same is happening today. Nearly two thousand years ago there was judgment on those religious Jews and their temple, and the same will happen again.

Power and control is always a major influence. Just as the Pharisees, the Sadducees and the scribes were in control and would rather kill Jesus than lose thir position and control of their temple and synagogues so it is today! Many people say they are Christian yet when it comes to following the Bible the chances are they will ask their Pastor or Priest. Such an answer shows that their confidence is in their denomination, not in Jesus Christ, who is the Bible in living form.

We all need to heed the call to come out of Babylon the Great, the mother harlot and her daughters. If we do not then we will be judged with them. Jesus calls us through His Word, the Shout of I Thessalonians 4.

I believe that the Word of God, the Message of today has rapturing grace in it. It brings a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and through the indwelling of His Holy Spirit we can walk with God as Enoch did.
